.....and rest.

Well its all over again. I may have said it before....in fact I'm sure I have, but this panto was a cracker. I'm very truthful with myself and I know when its an ordinary one and when its special. And this was special. Its almost as if last year when we had all the changes (director, lighting, choreography, etc) it needed a year to bed in. So this year we all gelled so well and it was written in a way that Andy Grant and I were together on stage a lot. Which is what the audience seem to like. The reviews were great and we generally had a great time. The whole cast was strong and everyone although tired could have gone on for another couple of weeks.
I'm home now and enjoying taking it easy. I fly out to LA next week. I'm having a couple of weeks hols with Ross and Brianna and then I pick up the Queen Victoria in LA and go to Hawaii on a 7 day trip. Fly back to LA then home. So that should be lovely.
I have been working on the big big variety show over the last few days and have written quite a few bits for it. Mostly in the middle of the night. Poor Jane.....she gets wakened up by me tapping my foot in time in bed to something I'm writing. So I'll be back in Edinburgh for Easter for the show.
The MrRoberts Brothers are making a return ....due to popular demand....as they say. Singing some hits from there 'tin' LP The McRoberts Bros Live in Effin.
The Kids are both fine. David and Kate are writing together for Kate's album and her next single is out in about a months time. I'm sure you know her last feature got to number 5 in the charts.
